| they arent much but i like to play around and change up the weapons on them and use the designs again.
The white vehicle is the transport version of my D-2 vehicle. But now it has a machine gun on it making it a light assault/ transport vehicle.
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/militarylegorocks/Military/Military-Vehicles/p8160165.jpg ROFL @ the obiwan i was using as a terrorist in that pic, if he didnt have the "terrorist" gas mask on you could see that it was him as an old fogy. (with the beard). This one shows the transport part of the D-1. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/militarylegorocks/Military/Military-Vehicles/p8160170.jpg, its a lil' bit blurry but oh well i will get some better ones soon.
The red one below is the light assualt version/transport of the D-2. It is a light assault because it has a machine gun and it has room to transport soldier and other stuff.
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=3359324
Also i made a heavy assault/ transport version of the D-2. The difference between a heavy assault and a light assault is the amount of firepower it has and another difference between the heavy and the light is the heavy assault turret can rotate.
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/militarylegorocks/Military/Military-Vehicles/p8160183.jpg
Also, i made two other designs, the D-1 support vehicle and the D-3 heavy armoured vehicle.
The D-1 looks like a semi truck from the front and the one you see is the transport/ medium assault vehicle. It is a medium assault vehicle because it has a heavier gun than the machine guns on the light one but not as much firepower as the heavy assault vehicle. It has two men in a fire-control area on the roof and it has one of those small castle turret/tower things as a backdoor and it swings out and you can use it to put supplys or men inside. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/militarylegorocks/Military/Military-Vehicles/p8160194.jpg
The D-3 is the heavy armoured vehicle, the only one that i have a picture of is the light assault/ transport version but now i have a plain light assault with two machine gun turrets and a drive-by shooters spot. The D-3 in the picture has a machine gun but i took it off. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/militarylegorocks/Military/Military-Vehicles/p8160187.jpg

| First off, you really need to resize your pics, they're huge. And they could have been taken better, but that's a seperate issue.
As for the vehicles themselves, they look incomplete. Where are the windshields? Where is the detail? They look like they could use some more work to be a little more interesting, especially the sides. They are kind of flat and boring, see if you can add some other colors, writing or symbols on them. The overall shape might need some work too, as these look like they all have a "box on wheels" look.
Or, if you really think they're crap, rebuild them all from scratch. Who knows? You might make something even better.
By the way, why are all of your figs bald?

| Cool, cool. I see that you already know how to co-ordinate colour schemes so that's not a problem. As Jayfo suggested, resizing your pictures is a must (800X600 should be plenty); for that, I recommend you just ask someone in the real world that knows computers before getting us to explain it.
The main thing I think would improve your vehicles is the use of slope pieces. I don't know what your collection is like, but you should have enough of them to make it work. Also, use the upside-down versions of them to create wheels wells.

| in response to jay, they are not all bald, just most of them. some of the guys using the turrets have helmets on so they could have hair. But i really don't know how they became bald. And some of them do have windshields but i used most of those for the D-1 support vehicle which needs four windshields. These are the new vehicles and the one that have been updated. (mind, you these were taken before reading these helpful comments, no sarcasm.) thats the new D-3 with the two machine guns and driveby spot. This is the supply version of the D-2. (the blue one below) This is some of my men getting ready to take down a terrorist fort's door. This is the original white one which used to be a normal transport until i mounted a machine gun onto it and made it into a light assault/transport. P.S. is there some number of posts you need before you can have a avatar? | |

| This is a great start - Don't get frustrated, everyone starts somewhere, and you have a great attitude about learning to build better - the best I've seen in awhile!
Follow Memory's advice on using slopes, and also, if you have them, you can always use plates instead of full bricks, so you can lower the height of the vehicles...They seem pretty tall.
Also, I'm not sure if you have a certain military theme, but if you want you can try to make the vehicles more military-like colors, such as grey, dark grey, black and tan. I like the white. Although, many builders have come up with their own militarys and have used bright colors, such as the Toys theme on Flickr.
P.S. - There's no minimun number of posts you need before you can have an avatar, signature or etc. Go ahead and edit your profile to your liking! Although, if you could keep avatars and signatures to a reasonable size, that'd be great. Welcome!

| Those are really just like prototypes to show off my designs, in one of my other posts on the "HI" forum, it says i make do with the colors of bricks i can find and i didn't try to make them tall. And my new one has slopes and the wheel wells as well and a proper enclosing around the drivers seat. The new one is the D-4 APV. (All Purpose Vehicle.) The reason for the color is that i found so many slanted black pieces. ^ That one shows how i did the wheel wells. ^Side View ^Not sure what to call this view. ^Those ones show the way i used the reverse slanting pieces to make a step sort of. ^Front View. P.S. I will be on tommorow morning and i hope i get some feedback, even if it isn't positive, i still would get glad to get some tips. P.P.S., I went to my profile and i couldn't find where to change my profile pic. Help? | |

| This is an improvement. I like what you've done with the slopes around the wheels. The top looks out of place though, and if you do have headgear for your figs, use it.
BTW, go to Profile and then next to "Information", click "Avatar".

| This is a step up already. I think the next thing you should work on is roof height. As Adry mentioned, they all look very tall right now. I would remove the top layer or two of bricks and replace them with a single layer of plates.
Good work on resizing your images! It would also be great if you just posted one image each post, and linked to the rest.

| I did the plate thing on the version that i updated because i was walking back to my room after i posted the pics and i dropped the D-4 APV. So i had to remodel it anyway, so i used the reverse slanting pieces to make protuding gun cabinets. The photos didn't turn out very well because of the bright colors of the my improvised RPGs. So i might make a video 360 of it. My sniper has a blue hat and one of the other marines has sand colored hair, i think from star wars most likely. I know that if i scrounge around i could find some more hair or headgear. And it is a great deal shorter than the other vehicles in the D-series.
And i think it deserves its on topic due to amount of improvement it has. So its topic shall be called the D-4 TAV. (Tactical Assault Vehicle).

| I think this is a great improvement. The D-4 TAV, is it? Nice! This reminds me; I need to go co-ordinate my colors on my 'chopper. It's a mess of gray and bley and light gray; my collection is not that large eather; although I might buy some more Laygoes soon. I think your RPG's could use a little work, and your minifigs. Your vehicles are defiantly improving though; keep up the good work! | |

| BrickArms are awesome - I only have a M1 Helmet and a M1 Garand, but everything is of superb quality. You won't be disappointed. | |
