| Oh, so my exact design came out of nothing? I'm sure. I've had my pictures public for months, more than over a year total in the past...
Why don't you actually try and come up with your OWN design?

| I'm sorry, But Tim, I don't see why your jumping all over him.
It's a BAR, Not a custom degsigned weapon, It's based off a real gun. Duh It's going to look like yours. I can see getting mad over it if he copied one of your Vehicles, planes, or buildings, etc. But a Minifig gun?
Honestly, There's only so many ways you can make a BAR. He based it off of a standard LEGO Rifle, He also tried to make to make the said Lego rifle look like a BAR, Just because you had used a LEGO rifle to make a BAR before he did doesn't give you any rights to rip him up one side and down the other.

| But my EXACT design? I've made sketches and plans to make a new one, yes, like you said, there are many ways to make a BAR. I could understand if there were some similarities, but that is the EXACT SAME!!
Building a customized weapon is the same as building a vehicle, certain parts modified in a certain way that fit together in a certain order and position.

| Exact? No. Do I see a front and rear sight on yours? No.
Exact means looking completely correct to each other. Ours are not exact.

| Wow, front and rear sights. Amazing difference from a gun that's over 2 years old. Those are two add ons that hardly matter, the whole construction of the gun, besides the oh-so-important LEGO sights, is the exact same, you even admitted that in your last post by pointing out that the sights are different...an add-on that's equilivant to 2 extra figs in a diorama.
I admit I could come across a bit harsh in saying "And almost an exact copy of mine...I mean, I hate the fact I have to keep doing this. Seriously, are you blind?" to some people, but I wasn't the one who edited every post into "FAIL" and said "Thread ruined by Tim." instead of providing reasoning for posts. I provided pictures, which could have been downloaded at any time or directly linked to by any of my Flickr contacts at any time, no matter how private my pictures are.

| Like Storm said, there are only so many ways to make a REAL gun. How did you specifically customize it? You didn't! You made a standard Browning Automatic Rifle. No bipod build on to the gun, no carry handle, and no duel magazine.
And there is also the fact of how detail you can get. I WAS going to add the small hump in front of the rear sight, but I couldn't due to the fact that I had cut my finger open a week prior, thus limiting my ability to go into small detail.
If you seriously think that everone has to do everything different, then that is messed up. For best results it seems logical to use the western rifle. What else is there to use? Everyone wants their gun to look good, and you'd have to be a great carver if you'd plan on making the entire gun out of grill pieces. I know for a fact I couldn't.
What else could I do? The Barrel is self explanitoy. The stock and body is aswell. And so is the magazine, trigger guard, foregrip, sights, and lower rod!
If you can think of making a BAR either than using a western rifle, grill pieces, and an antenna, Let me know.

| Sure, I'll get to work tonight and let you know. Hopefully I'll have it up by tomorrow if you want me too, I'm a bit busy with homework. Junior year is the busiest year in my high school, especially English. Want me to take progress pictures? I'll even put them all in a big animated GIF so that you don't have to look through too many pictures. Also, you agree that there are so many ways, so why did you make it practically the exact design that I did? Yes, I made a standard BAR, that's a removable bipod, want more pictures? I didn't have a carry handle, neither did you, I didn't make a duel magazine, neither did you. And, dual magazines? I have never seen that for a BAR. Thompson, Carbine, Grease gun, yes, but BAR? That would be impractical in real life. No, I don't think every has to do something different, when have I said that? But when you use someone else's design, decent people usually give credit. I've talked to you countless times about that term, hopefully I don't need to explain it again. I was going to post in the thread and thank you for the inspiration credit, but then I saw it was just on the jeep, but you never gave me the chance to. Sorry. The other stuff, see the first paragraph. | |

| I'm actually content with my BAR, thank you. I don't need you shitty new one to be happy.
Duel magazine clamps for BARs are real. Get out and go to a gun show sometime in your life.
From what you say, and how you act, it seems to you that everyone has the do things differently.
I would give you credit, but after what you've said. I don't think you fucking deserve it. And also considering when I made this I didn't even have your BAR in mind when I made this.

| Ok, that's cool, me too, that's why I haven't actually made a new one in 2 years!
Yes, I'm sure they exist in modern days, but WW2 duel magazine clamps were not used. I'm sure clamps were not even manufactured by that time.
What I say and have said regards credit. Seriously, do I NEED to talk about that again? How many times have I said that word to you? Hundreds?
Fishy coincidence. | |

| Dylan, this is not the first time you've plagarized Tim's work. If it was the first time, and if you hadn't responded to Tim's accusations with such butthurt, maybe you wouldn't look so bad right now. But it's not, and you did. The swearing isn't helping either, btw. | |
