| I'd get an M2 Carbine--(which is going to be the first gun I get as a matter of fact ) not as heavy as the Thompson, it fires automatic and semi, and it has low recoil, and with about 10-15 30 round magazines, I'd be good to go. Oh, I took that test this morning--I scored a 77% | |

| Heheh, M2's are like around $8000 now, plus you would have a hard time finding ammo, because there's only a couple of makers of it, and you wouldn't find much of it if you had to loot people's houses. Plus, you would have to get headshots with that thing, or at least a bunch of body hits to take them down. -Stormy | |

| M2 carbine or an M1 with a heat shield; doesn't matter to me; looks cool either way | |

| Went to the army-navy store today, got a set of all black dog-tags, a 'messenger bag' for my Thompson 30 round mag's, a OD US flag, and a new Woodland OD jacket. This time next week; I'll be at the Op | |

| My Top ten anti-zombie weapons: 1. M4A1 Carbine (M4-TC) with an ACOG scope, double mag's and silenced. 2. .22 caliber lever action rifle 3. M2 Carbine 4. M16 Rifle 5. M14, scoped, silenced 6. M1A1 Thompson 7. Barrett .50 caliber Sniper rifle 8. M1 Garand 9.AK-47 10. M249 S.A.W. Hey, I know the M249 would be useless, (read Max Brook's Zombie Survival Guide) but it would look cool. The M4A1 is the ideal anti-zombie rifle, according to several sources on the internet and the movie I am Legend. 5 Days before the Op! | |

| But the zombies can't hear it; loud noises attract hordes of the undead. I'd be willing to trade a little accuracy for remaining undetectable in the black of night. | |

| The M249 is a Squad Automatic Weapon, its supposed to fire full auto, and I doubt you could pull of headshots with it over 100 to 150 feet; its just not as accurate as a Carbine/Rifle. If you don't destroy a zombies brain, it will keep coming after you. If I cut one in half with a 100 round box mag, the top half would still come after me, and it would continue to 'soak up' bullets like a sponge until I hit it's brain. Read the Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks. Even though a semi only weapon is recommended by him, I'd still choose the M4A1 (M4-TC) with those upgrades | |

| You could probeley make head shots fairly easy with it, it's only 5.56 and the weight of the gun is large enough to offset the recoil greatly. -Stormy | |

| Eh, maybe, if you had the proper training; I still wouldn't count on it in a pressure situation where you had to make headshots with rapid precision Answer = M4A1 Carbine w/upgrades mentioned in the last page. Three days until I leave for the Op | |

| In language, I had to put a proper noun for a magazine. I put the M-1928A1 magazine (I bet she was looking for the name of a magazine that you read....) Cool...3 days until you leave.... It is about 2 mins before I'm forced to pee in my pants.... I think i'll go now... | |

| Haha, yeah....wait, how did you estimate the time before--nevermind. I'm bringing the video camera to the Op; and the guy that's going with me insists that he's going to pull a 'Pvt. Leggett' Haha, I'd laugh my rear-end off if a tank shot him while he was doing it. | |

| Well, I haven't had time to write up what happened yet, but I will try and make some time for it this week/weekend. I'll be out of town this weekend, so I'll be on my laptop a lot. I'll try and type up a summary of what happened at the Fulda Gap Operation. On a second note: I'm going to go to a game at the same field in December, although this one is only for one day | |

| I just finished Act 1 on Gears of War 2 on Insane difficulty, we're going out of town for Thanksgiving next weekend, so I'm going to see if I can beat the whole game on Insane then (Dec. 7th).
I'm also probably not going to be able to go to the airsoft operation in December, but I should be able to make the one in January.
I'm still working on getting the video converted that I took at the airsoft Op; I'll let you guys know when I get it up.

| Two Words: Epic Win. I really need to type up a summary of the airsoft Op...I should have enough time to do it on Christmas break, but I've got finals next week, so if I type one up, it won't be until after the 14th. | |

| Quick question for you: did you meet a guy up there who goes by the nickname 'TAC' and look of Mexican origin?
(If you did-I know him. He goes to where I play at all the time.)

| No I didn't; there were 269 people there though, and although I shot/shot at, saw and/or met alot of them, I didn't meet everybody. He could have been there and I missed him.
What I said above reminds me of the time when we had 100 guys standing in formation Saturday morning. (I fell in with a squad who lives close to me, so me and my neighbor were lined up with most of the Russian team.) So anyway, we were standing in formation, and one of the directors called up the team leaders so everyone could see them, and this one guy that got called up was the leader of a team that was up and coming. Right as he got to the front, he dropped his G&G M4 (It was the sportline, or plastic version; $100 cheaper than the Full Metal ones.). When he dropped it, it snapped in two. Around 100 guys decked out in camouflage gear groaned at the same time...it was pretty loud, let me tell ya'.
And then the time....ah, crap. I don't have time to type up all the cool stuff that happened; like the epic charge up a hill into a firebase with 80 guys running along with us; all firing their guns. The gas attack, and then the counterattack on the firebase by five guys that got lit up by the fifty or so people that made it/gotten inside the base (One of the guys jackets got partially ripped off by all the BB's hitting him.) Then the time in the night game where I led a group of 5 or 6 guys on an assault into a trench system and we all got separated or hit and it ended up being just me and a guy with a gas pistol alone in a bunker right outside the complex where there were 6 guys with AEG's defending it; even though you could only go single for the night game, that's 6 guys with AEG's against 1 AEG and a Gas pistol. (There were 7 guys, but I capped one with my pistol when he shot one of my teammates. The others didn't know where we were or even if we were out there.) And then the "Goat" incident...heck, I still laugh about that one. Then defending the simulated city...the list goes on and on. Hopefully I will have time to type it up over Christmas Break.)

| WAit, could this 'Goat' incedent possibly involve a dog? If so then it directly links to TAC and us at Sweetwater. There is a dog that always runs around the field and everyone calls it the goat. = D
Also, what is you pistol again? I seem to have forgoten.

| No; it was not an animal; more like a friendly green team mate calling out "Tan" in the dark (It sounded like a goat; "Taaaaannn!"); luckily we got it straitened out before friendly fire occurred You have to hear the whole story to get it; its linked to the assault on the bunker complex in the night game I was talking about in my previous post. I've got a spring .45 pistol; I think its the KWC one. | |
