| Hey guys, haha, it's like 1:45 in the morning here, I paused the Family Guy DVD to race up here and type this out, before I forget it in my nighttime slumbers...
With the new MOC for Elffy's contest that I built and uploaded today on Flickr, came to me the idea of a webcomic...Gangster-eque, but with a slight comedic(?) turn on it, with the Spiked Milk thing...It'd be really cool to do that, milk's kinda turned out to be a mini trade mark or something, with my past two MOCs and the whole LIFE RPGs.
I dunno, I've been wanting to do a webcomic for awhile, and just never got down an idea that I liked or a story that was good enough to put into motion. But I wanted your guys' opinion on it. Should I do it? Is the story main idea kinda good?
Anyway, back to Family Guy...Lucky there's a man who, positively can do, all the things that make us, laugh and cry, hes...a...fam...ly...guuuuuuuuy! Dah-do-doot, bawm.

| Sounds like more building, which is always a plus. | |

| Yeah, it would definitely mean more building.
What I was thinking though is planning out the story, locations and characters completely before taking photos. If I do that, I can build each location only once - Meaning more detail can be involved in each scene.
If I have multiple locations built at one time, it limits me in the number of bricks and colors and detail (special parts and techniques) I can have in each scene. What I mean is, say, figure out all of the scenes that take place in the Don's office. Then, build the office, take pictures for all of those scenes, then tear down the office and build a new scene. You guys think that would work?
Also, with the upload of this picture on Flickr today, came the question - should the pictures be in black and white, or in color? Both, with selective use? Because in black and white, you can't tell whether minifigs are yellow or fleshtone...Meaning I'd have a LOT more variety in faces!!

| Erm, maybe I was too quick to pass judgement on the flesh/yellow thing...

Also, what should I do about the text part of the story? Write everything underneath? Speech bubbles?

| If you want to make a web comic, Adren, I suggest you use Comic Life. It's a great program. I use it to do Nerds In Space. | |

| I think you should use color pics, but then when a showdown is going to happen, or a big shootout, switch to B&W. Dunno, just an idea.
Green light on the comic BTW.

| I've been thinking...
What if I set the Webcomic in the 1940s-1950s? Then I would able to have greasers, more fun cars(and maybe easier to build?), and alot of the torsos I have seem to be more fitting of a 50's enviroment rather than a 30's...

| I think that with your skill and dedication to accurately representing the era, anything you put your mind to is going to impress everyone.
I'll do one if you do one. :~D

| I'd start to do one, but get all tired and go to sleep after finally finding a storyline. | |

| I could do a post apoc one, but after the first episode, I would not find the time to do more, and I would leave everyone with a cliffhanger. | |
