It's mainstreamed as Heavy Metal, but it is Heavy rock.

Same goes for MCR being mainstreamed as Emo, when it's not, it's simply rock.


As for bands, I go with most Rock, Metal and Indie bands, both modern stuff and old. I'm also into the trance music too.

Actually, the Naked Brothers band is of younger boys. It is sponsored by Nickolodeon. The Jonas Brothers are teen guys (whose music is way better) and are sponsored by Disney Channel. One way you could tell is that you always see the Jonas Brothers with the ever-fabled Hannah Montanah.

anyway....I also like the Beatles. "Lady Madonna" by them is awesome.

And for those of you who like Heavy Metal, the Beatles were among the first to influence its development. "Helter Skelter" was one of the forefront songs in which that sound was in. Then Cream, and a whole bunch of them came and invented/developed it.

Yeah, I heard their song Wake Up Call on the radio once, and decided to them check out, but was disappointed to find that most of their songs had pretty much the same feel to them.

BTW, on the subject of "Wake Up Call," I came up with this parody to the chorus:

Ah! There AWSOME! But I just like other bands more.....
They sound abit like some Linkin Park.
