| Okay, so I'm not going to go into detail here (just yet anyway) about how my Christmas/New Years went, but here are some highlights: 1. I got the airsoft gun I wanted; it's amazing, and it kicks some serious ass. 2. Our New Years party went something like this: Almost all the adults got drunk (what the heck; it only comes once a year), and then we went outside and lit off all of our fireworks. We would yell really loud every time one went off, (really whoopin' it up here) and I went out in the road and lit this mini-rocket on a stick thing....I backed off, and it promptly started screeching; threw sparks everywhere, and flew straight at the neighbor's car. It missed by mere inches. One of these rockets was thrown up in the air, and came straight back down before it went off. It landed right in the middle of me and some of my brother's hockey teammates. I backed off a bit, but then it started going off and flipped towards me and another kid and started screeching; it rocketed towards us and we had to dive out of the way. (Right after it ended, everyone got up and started screaming "Hell yeah!" and went and grabbed more fireworks to set off.) Our New Years party's are the best evar. 3. Oh yeah, and one of those rocket things spiraled into the neighbor's back yard and started a fire (Wasn't that big though; they put it out). I can only imagine what that 'safety first' family living up the street was thinking at the time all this chaos was going on. I'll upload some pics of my Christmas loot soon! | |

| My G&G GR-16A3 Carbine, with two low-cap magazines and one highcap, along with my "steel pot" helmet and my Ace of Spades "Death's Head" Card. I installed my Flip Video Camera, and I got it up and running. Even took a few test videos, I might upload them to YouTube here in a few days. I'm thinking about doing a video review of the GR16A3 Carbine and the "CyberGun" M1A1 Thompson; I'll let you guys know if it happens. | |

| It was, but when I tried to put it on, the ACOG wouldn't fit. Either the carrying handle was too small, or the scope mount was too large. Meh, I like it better this way too | |

| Hey, I still have it; its a great gun and I'm not going to get rid of it, its just the M4TC is newer and it has a $120 scope on it (That's really accurate BTW). | |

| Thanks! I love my ACOG; I zeroed it in just right, so the gun is really accurate. I can't wait to use it in an airsoft war | |

| New stuff... I went to an airsoft game yesterday*, had a great time, but I lost one of my 450 round thermold magazines Anyway, I still have 2 other high cap's, a mid cap, and 2 low cap's, so I'm good. I think I remembered where it fell out, and I asked the guy who lived at the place we play at to look for it, and he said he'd check around, so hopefully he'll find it *We played several short games and a long one; during the long game a buddy and I hid off to the side as we let the attacking team have one of the bases. We hid behind a large fallen log and a few trees and waited for the attacking team to move up. As we were waiting, the last member of our team came running up the trail towards our hiding spot, so we waved him over. We sat and waited for a few minutes, and sure enough, the attacking team started moving towards the next base. Most of them were across a creek and out of our range, but two of them were walking up the trail that went right by our ambush site. The encounter went something like this: (Everyone was in cover, so I peeked out from behind my tree to see how close they were; I wanted to make sure they were close enough to guarantee us "killing" a few of them.) "Okay guys...hold your fire. I'll yell when they get close." (The attackers got within maybe 20 feet of where we were when I yelled "FIRE!" We all leaned out of our cover and lit them up, this, of course, drew enormous amounts of fire from their comrades across the creek, but we were able to take three or four of them out before we all got hit.) We used this tactic a total of three times during the game, and each time we got at least one kill. I think I had 3 or 4 confirmed kills during this game; one during the early stages, while we were defending the "beach", I arched my BB's over a field into a group of attackers placing a "Bangalore" by a gate, and I heard one guy scream "hit" a few times. During the second ambush, I'm pretty sure I got two "kills"; I know for sure I lit the pointman up, and then I switched to the next person behind the point man and I think that we got each other out at the same time, because I remember my BB's hitting him right as I got shot. The fourth kill was when we circled around for the last ambush, and the attackers left one person to hold us up while they moved on; I took him out. All in all, an amazing day of airsoft I did get some video, but not that much. I hope to take more video at the "Vietnam" game this weekend. My buddy and I are going to try and get behind the enemy lines and wreak some havoc; it's a pretty big field, around 60-70 acres I think, so we should be able to get by them, no problem...oh yeah, did I mention we're on green team, and the other team is tan? That'll make it that much easier to sneak by them | |

| Haha, We watched it the other night. Very cool movie, though I dought I'll ever watch it again, just to much swearing, not that they could really get around that, as it does have gangs in it. Oh yeah, we have on BLU-RAY sucker! -Stormy | |

| School has started back, and I'm currently sitting in computer class at the community college I'm attending, so I thought I'd post a quick blog update. Update, Tuesday, September 1st, 2009, at 11:34am: School has started back, and I've graduated early, so I'm "out" of school, and "in" college now (currently going for a two year degree before transferring to a state college). Fulda '09 takes place in mid-October, and I'm planning on camping out up there with some friends; a buddy and I just finished figuring out how to put up a 7 man tent that I've had sitting in my attic for years (I'll take pictures before we take it down), so we're set on that, all we need now is everything else (food, snacks, etc). Other than that, I'm looking forward to the release of MW2, and the new Halo: ODST game (which will be added to my Christmas list due to me saving almost every penny I have to put toward a Jeep Wrangler, even though I dunno if it'll work out yet [insurance cost, gas mileage, etc]). That's about it, other than school and Fulda '09, there isn't much else going on right now. On another note, we should get the RPG started up; it'd probably help revive the forums | |

| I'm back--hopefully we can revive PPE?, since all you guys do is chat on the C-box News: I've started another semester (1 year down, 1 to go) at the community college, and I'm going to have to start thinking about the transfer to a state college (going to try and transfer by the end of this year--I just need my two science classes). I've registered to vote as a Republican (I'll be turning 18 before the next election, so I went ahead and registered), got a few more Zippo Lighters for my collection, and bought a couple Indy Lego sets (as well as the TLG Toy Story Army Men set, which is really cool). That's about it--hopefully PPE? can be revived... ...Now only if we knew what Paul's plan was... | |

| /Random Blog Post October 1st, 2012 -- 10:27PM -I've got 2 Semesters left in college, probably going to start on my MS/MA in Criminal Justice next year at a different university, hopefully up in the mountains. -I've had the Jeep for about one year (bought her 11/15/11): Future plans = 1.5" more lift, 33x12.5 BFG A/Ts -And 2-3 years later, I'm still hoping PPE? will somehow be revived and come back from the dead. I'm on Flickr, y'all should have sent me a PM or something -- I check in one day and find out that everyone was active the month before; I missed y'all by a couple of weeks | |
