yup, the Model 6 looked like the M1 and M1A1 Thompsons, and the Model 7 looked like the M1928 model. The Model 7 could not use a drum mag though.

Alright, cool...

Considered one of the best revolver designs of all time, the S&W Military and Police revolver first debuted in 1899 along with a revolutionary new cartridge designed by the same company - what was it?

ok, 1. how do you place a drum magazine into a 1928 Thompson? and 2. How would you place a stick magazine into an M1A1 Thompson?

(how do you slide it in)

Number one, I believe you slide it in from the left side.
Two, You have to lne up the T shape on the magazine with the cutout on the mag well.

Nice, also if you didnt know, there are 2 slots in the 1928 Thompson's that allow you to slide it in, those slots were not on the M1 and M1A1s, so the drum magazine could not be fitted.

Your up.

Yeah, I'm guessing Auto-odernence figured that the mag catch was to weak to support the weight of 50\100 rounds of .45ACP, hence the slots.

Anyways, tell me the name of the series of AK-type shotguns.
